Immanuel Kant (1724-1804)

Kanty

Immanuel Kant is arguably the greatest philosopher of modern times. Aged just 16 he was admitted to Königsberg’s highly prestigious university, where he studied philosophy and science. Years of academic brilliance followed and in 1781 he published his seminal work, the Critique of Pure Reason. His ideas have influenced all subsequent philosophical thought.

Cathal Morrow (1965-)

Cathal Morrow followed his 2:2 in Development Studies from arguably Wales’ finest university, Swansea, with a series of less than glittering careers in  journalism, PR, marketing and sales. In 2001, he abandoned capitalism to write his (unpublished) novel, Happier th>n Larry, about a photocopier salesman who is perfecting a formula for finding his true self. When he eventually ran out of money, he hawked corporate websites and annual reports for a couple of years.

He is 44 and lives in Madrid with his wife, Patti, and their two young sons, Borja and Elkin.
